001What is Schema0?+
Schema0 is a backend platform built for agentic development. It gives AI coding agents — and developers — instant access to Postgres, storage, auth, edge functions, and deployment, so you can go from idea to production without stitching services together.
002How does it work with AI agents?+
Schema0 exposes its infrastructure through an MCP server that AI coding agents (Claude, Cursor, VS Code Copilot, etc.) can connect to directly. Agents can create databases, deploy functions, manage storage, and more — all without leaving your editor.
003What database does Schema0 use?+
Every project gets a fully managed Postgres database. You get direct SQL access, and agents can run migrations, create tables, and query data through the MCP interface.
004Do you train AI on my data?+
No. We never train AI models on your data — your code, database, and conversations stay yours. Schema0 is free to use; we make money through advertising, not by selling or training on your data.
005Can I use Schema0 without an AI agent?+
Absolutely. Schema0 works great as a standalone backend platform. You can use the CLI, dashboard, or API directly — the agent integration is a superpower on top, not a requirement.
006How do I get started?+
Run npx @schema0/cli create in your terminal. It will scaffold a new project with Postgres, auth, and functions ready to go. From there, connect your AI agent or start building directly.
007Am I locked into Schema0?+
Not at all. For the best user experience we maintain our own authentication system, but you can decouple it and deploy your own very easily if you want. Your data lives in standard Postgres, and your code is yours — there's no proprietary lock-in.
